Lights.com—Hands Free Flashlights

Hands-free flashlights are sometimes needed to allow you to perform needed work when you need some additional lighted assistance. There are several different types of flashlights that are hands free. Some may attach to clothing, key rings, hats, visors and helmets, while others may sit on a flat surface and allow you to point the light in whichever direction it is needed. There are quite a few flashlight manufacturers who make an array of hands free models.

Pelican has several different models of hands-free flashlights. Two of their most popular are the Versabrite and the Versabrite II. The Versabrite and Versabrite II both feature swivel heads which are multi-positional and can be pointed in any direction. These flashlights can sit flat on tables or other flat surfaces, or they can be clipped onto clothing, belts or hats. Other models such as the Mitylite, Stealthlite and the L1 can be attached to helmets or hard hats.

Streamlight also makes a few different models of hands-free flashlights. One of them is the Streamlight Clipmate LED flashlight. This model can clip onto almost anything and it also comes with an elastic head strap. It is powered by three LED lamps, and the light projection can be seen from up to a mile away. The flashlights are also water resistant, highly durable and rugged, and they run on three AAA alkaline batteries. Other Streamlight hands-free models include the Trident LED, the Septor LED, and the Argo LED.
